These results are not meaningful. This check renders a single static frame, and nothing in a test document records which moment in time its reference image was captured at - so a correct SMIL implementation and a broken one are equally likely to mismatch. Animation behaviour is covered by dedicated unit tests instead; see ctgnz/foxglove#208 for a real measurement methodology, still to be worked out.

In the difference panel, red marks pixels that differ beyond tolerance and grey marks matching content. The tinted band, where present, is the <text id="revision"> legend every test carries: it renders in a fallback font this library cannot match, so it is excluded from the comparison entirely rather than failing every test.

What this test checks

The test passes if the following conditions are met: In the first eight seconds of the document, the 10 squares in the left section of the test must become green at the time at the top of the column they are in. For example, the square in the "offset" row must become green at 2s after the document has been loaded. Immediately once the red square in the "event base" row has been clicked, it must become green. Two seconds after the click, the second square must become green. Immediately once "a" has been pressed on the keyboard, the first square in the "accessKey()" row must become green. Two seconds after the keypress, the second square must become green. No other changes occur in the document.
